中佛罗里达大学简介

中佛罗里达大学成立于1963年，是一所公立大学。《ProfilesofAmericanColleges》大学年鉴指出，最好的学科是工程、商科管理和计算科学。学生选修最多的学科，依次是商科管理(20%)、教育(19%)、跨系研习(8%)、工程(8%)和大众传播(8%)。前一两年有6,986人报考，共2,959人获录取。

中佛罗里达大学（通常简称UCF）是一所座落在佛罗里达奥兰多的太空基金大学。是佛罗里达最大的本科教育公立大学， 并且是佛罗里达第二大的综合性大学，还是排名第五的全美最大的大学。

中佛罗里达大学是佛罗里达州立大学的成员之一，1963年为了给位于学校东部56公里的肯尼迪航天中心提供高素质的航天技术培训而以佛罗里达工程大学名字建校。1978年因为学术研究已经几乎扩展到所有领域而更名为中佛罗里达大学。1990年，学校建立了空间教育与研究中心。
